What's the difference between the free plan and the paid plans?

The free plan offers basic tools, a single widget, and a single popup, ideal for testing ChatHQ's capabilities. Paid plans, starting with the Startup plan, expand on these offerings significantly, allowing for more widgets, popups, and advanced features like White Label Branding and the Knowledge Base Builder, catering to businesses looking to scale their operations and personalize their customer engagement strategies further.

How long can I use my FREE ChatHQ Portal account?

We have no intention of removing the free portal plan. So you can rest assured that you can take full advantage of the free plan. If we ever make changes to our free plan, we will make sure to plan accordingly with all customers residing in the free tier.

What subscription plans does ChatHQ offer?

ChatHQ offers various plans tailored to different business sizes and needs, from basic free plans with essential features to premium plans that include advanced analytics, customization, and support options.

How can I upgrade my subscription?

Once you create your free account, upgrading is very simple! You can manage all billing, upgrades, and downgrades from the billing settings in your account.

Do you offer annual subscription discounts?

Yes. ChatHQ offers discounted annual billing for all plans. If you upgrade to an annual plan, you get a full year's subscription for the cost of 10 months.

Do you offer custom pricing for enterprises?

At the moment of writing this, no we do not. But we have plans to offer Enterprise pricing in the near future!

How does the subscription renewal work?

Subscriptions usually auto-renew at the end of each cycle, ensuring uninterrupted access to features and services.

Is there a free trial available for premium plans?

Not at this time. We may consider this in the future, but since we already offer a FOREVER FREE plan, we give businesses the ability to test ChatHQ and decide whether upgrading is the right move for them.

What payment methods are accepted?

We process all payments with Stripe, and allow customers to use major US credit cards. All transactions are secured by Stripe. Visit Stripe's website for more information on payment security.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, you can always upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through the platform's subscription settings. When you upgrade or downgrade, we will update your subscription and charge you the prorated amount that would cover the remainder of your billing cycle using the monthly cost of the plan you upgraded or downgraded to.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Upon cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the free plan. Features from your previous plan will remain until the end of the current billing cycle.

What's your refund policy?

ChatHQ has a strict "No Refunds" policy. With that being said, if you feel you are entitled to a refund for any reason, please contact support at support@chathq.io and present your case. You can read more about our refund policy in our Terms and Conditions.

Can I pause my subscription?

Depending on the situation, you may have the option to pause your subscription for a specified period instead of canceling outright. Please contact support to address your specific situation to see if your qualified to pause your subscription.
